Entry assessment and recognition of prior experience
Source: Admissions and Participation Terms
Before the program starts, every participant completes a short entry assessment. Based on it, we determine the point at which they enter the program, the scope of their package, and the appropriate track.
The entry assessment also serves as recognition of prior learning and experience: a participant who already knows part of the content starts at a higher entry point and does not sit through what they already know. This does not reduce the scope stated on the certificate — that reflects the scope of the program actually completed.
Completing the program and the certificate

Each program ends with an assessment of learning outcomes and acquired competencies. In the intensive program, you take tests throughout the individual modules and complete a practical assignment and a short test at the end. In the long-term group program, you submit solutions during the program that document the practices introduced into your own work; each solution is reviewed and approved by an instructor.
To complete successfully you need at least 80 % — in the intensive program in the tests together with the submitted final assignment, in the cohort as the share of approved challenge solutions out of those you agreed with your lecturer at the start (at least five).

Ongoing tests in the individual modules of the learning platform, a final practical assignment, and a short final test. Pass threshold: at least 80% in the tests and a submitted final assignment.

During the program, the participant submits solutions to assignments (challenges) through the platform, each capturing a concrete workflow introduced or automated in their own work. The instructor reviews and approves every solution; approved solutions are the participant’s written output. At the outset, the participant and instructor agree an individual plan of at least five assignments; approximately eight assignments are recommended over ten weeks. The pass threshold is at least 80% approved solutions from this agreed plan.
Quality directive, Art. VII points 1 to 3

The quality directive is issued in Slovak. Below is an unofficial English translation of the quoted articles; the Slovak original, shown on the Slovak version of this page, is binding.
- Every programme ends with an assessment of the learning outcomes achieved.
- Assessment takes place on the institution's learning platform augmented.club and has two parts:
a) ongoing: tests in the individual modules and ongoing practical tasks,
b) final, depending on the type of programme:
- in an intensive programme, a final practical assignment and a short final test,
- in a long-term cohort programme, evidence of practices actually introduced: during the programme the participant submits solutions to assignments (challenges) on the platform, each capturing a specific practice introduced into their own work; every submitted solution is reviewed and approved by an instructor. The submitted and approved solutions form the participant's written output.
- The criteria for successful completion are communicated to the participant before the programme starts. The pass threshold is 80 %: in an intensive programme, at least 80 % in the tests and a submitted final assignment; in a cohort programme, at least 80 % approved solutions out of the assignments the participant agreed with the instructor at the start of the programme (an individual assignment plan of at least five). In a cohort programme each participant works on their own work agenda, so at the start of the programme the participant and the instructor agree an individual assignment plan; the number of assignments reflects the scope of the agenda and is recorded on the platform. The plan has at least five assignments; about eight is the recommended scope for ten weeks. The 80 % threshold is calculated from this agreed number.
