This policy explains what personal data NodeonLabs processes when you visit nodeonlabs.com, write to us or book a call, why we process it, and what rights you have.

What Data We Process

• Visiting the website: our host Vercel records technical data in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request.
• Emails you send us: your name, email address and whatever you write, when you contact us at hello@nodeonlabs.com.
• Booking a call: when you book a consultation through our Google Calendar booking page, your name, email address, company, the size of your engineering team and your message, if you add one.
• Videos: if you press play on a video, it loads from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com). Before you press play, nothing is loaded from YouTube.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website, and we do not use forms that send data to us.

Why We Process It

• Server logs: to deliver the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Emails and booked calls: to answer your enquiry and prepare the conversation you asked for. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Videos: to show you the video you chose to play. Legal basis: your consent, given by pressing play (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. If you play a video, YouTube may store cookies or similar data on your device under its own privacy policy.

Service Providers

We use the following service providers, which process data on our behalf or, for YouTube, under their own privacy policy:

• Vercel: Website hosting. Processes server logs, including IP addresses.
• Google Workspace: Email for hello@nodeonlabs.com and the Google Calendar booking page for consultations.
• YouTube (Google): Plays the videos on this site, only after you press play.

Enrolment in our programmes and payment take place on augmented.club, where its own privacy policy applies.

International Data Transfers

Google and Vercel may process data in the United States. These transfers are protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), in compliance with Chapter V GDPR.

Data Retention

• Emails and booked calls: deleted within 6 months after your enquiry is resolved, unless they become part of a business relationship, in which case we keep them for as long as the law requires.
• Server logs: kept by Vercel for a short period under its standard settings, then deleted automatically.
• Light or dark mode choice: stays in your browser until you clear its storage.

Your GDPR Rights

As a data subject under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request erasure of your data (right to be forgotten)
• Restrict processing of your data
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting past processing)
• Lodge a complaint with the Slovak supervisory authority: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky (dataprotection.gov.sk)
