Cancellations and refunds

This page brings together the published rules on this topic. Each passage names the document it comes from; that document remains the binding text.

Cancellation and rescheduling of scheduled training

Source: Admissions and Participation Terms

The rules in this section apply only to scheduled instructor-led training, not the self-paced format. A booking is confirmed by a downpayment of 50 % of the agreed total; the remaining 50 % is invoiced after delivery. The cancellation policy takes effect on the day the downpayment is credited to our account and applies to every confirmed date. Send cancellations by email to hello@nodeonlabs.com — the date on which the email is delivered determines which cancellation band applies:

  • More than one month before the agreed date — free of charge. The downpayment is refunded in full, or carried over to a rescheduled date, whichever you prefer. Fee 0 %.
  • Less than one month, but one week or more, before the date — the cancellation fee equals the downpayment, that is 50 % of the agreed total. Nothing further is invoiced.
  • Less than one week before the date — the full agreed price is due. The downpayment is retained and the remaining 50 % is invoiced.
  • Rescheduling more than one month ahead is free and simply moves the booking to a new agreed date. Rescheduling inside one month is treated as a cancellation of that date under the bands above.
  • If the programme is split into several visits, the bands apply to each confirmed date on its own.
  • You may substitute another participant free of charge if you tell us before the course starts.
  • If we cancel or cannot deliver an agreed date, you receive a full refund of everything paid for that date, with no fee of any kind.

If you are a consumer and concluded the contract at a distance, these cancellation bands do not limit your statutory right to withdraw within 14 days. That period runs from the day the contract was concluded, so if you withdraw while it is running no cancellation fee applies; the conditions are set out in our complaints policy.

Self-paced format: payment, access and refunds

Source: Admissions and Participation Terms

The self-paced format of Master of AI-Augmented Coding has separate commercial terms from the scheduled instructor-led training described above.

Request an invoice by emailing hello@nodeonlabs.com. Once the enrolment details have been agreed, we issue the invoice; the full price is payable in advance by bank transfer, no later than three working days before the program start date. Access starts on the published start date of the self-paced program and remains available for 12 months. The enrolment confirmation states the exact start and expiry dates.

During the access period, you retain access to the purchased lessons and challenges, your submitted work and results, and Q&A recordings from your run. Live Q&A sessions and active instructor or community support are available only during the scheduled 3-, 5- or 7-week program.

The price includes corrections, security updates, replacements of outdated lessons and content improvements within the purchased program and package. Future standalone programs, new packages and substantial additions outside the purchased scope are not included.

You may request a full refund without giving a reason by emailing hello@nodeonlabs.com no later than 23:59 on the seventh calendar day of the program; the start date counts as day one. The guarantee applies to each standard seat purchased by an individual or a company. Separately negotiated company contracts may expressly set different terms.

After a refund, enrolment and access to lessons, the community and Q&A are terminated immediately and recorded progress is no longer available. No certificate of completion or platform certificate is issued. Normal use of content unlocked during the first week does not prevent a refund; we may refuse only demonstrably abusive repeated enrolment and refund requests.

This voluntary satisfaction guarantee is an additional contractual benefit and does not limit any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

Withdrawal from a distance contract

Source: Complaints Policy

Under Section 19(1), in conjunction with Section 20(1), of Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts, if you are a consumer and concluded the contract at a distance or away from business premises, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. For a service contract, this period begins on the date the contract is concluded, not on the course start date. Under Sections 17(10) and 19(1)(a) of that Act, the right of withdrawal expires only after the service has been fully provided if performance began before the end of the 14-day period with your express consent and you also declared that you had been duly informed that you would lose the right of withdrawal once the service had been fully provided. If any of these conditions is not met, your right of withdrawal remains. If you expressly consented to performance beginning before the end of the withdrawal period and withdraw after it has begun, under Section 21(5) of that Act you must pay a proportionate part of the total agreed price for the performance actually provided.
